|
課程概述 |
1. 這個華語課程是「中級一」程度，提供通過臺大國際教育中心華語課程「初級」課程者，或經由本校分班測驗判定適合學習中級一班者。
This course is designed for those who have passed elementary level last semester in NTU or have previously studied Chinese for at least 360 hours or at least three academic semesters of Mandarin Chinese at the university.
2. 本課程所使用的教材為《實用視聽華語3》（第1課～第7課），以生活中常討論的主題為課程內容，幫助學生增加詞彙量，提升表達能力，希望學生能兼顧「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生生活不因語言不通而有障礙。
The textbooks used in this course is “Practical Audio- Visual Chinese III” (the third version), Lesson 1 ~ Lesson 7. In this course, students will learn a lot of vocabularies and sentence patterns for developing and improving their ability to conduct independent speaking, reading and listening ability as well as producing paragraph-level texts.

課程目標 |
1. 學生能讀、寫正體字，且聽說讀寫四項技能都能達到各課標準。
After this course is completed, students will know how to read and write traditional Chinese characters and their listening, speaking, reading and writing ability will reach the level required.
2. 學生能針對生活中常用的主題，簡單表達自己的看法，並與他人進行討論。
Student will be able to use the vocabularies and grammars they learned throughout the semester to express themselves and discuss various topics about daily life with others in Chinese. |

課程要求 |
1.課程前三週（9/29-10/12）是線上課程，之後視防疫情況決定是否恢復為實體課。
Given the current pandemic situation, all classes are required to move online for the first three weeks of this semester. In other words, we will take online courses from 29th September to 12th October.
2.如果是實體課程，到教室上課，請全程戴口罩上課，並與同學保持社交距離。另外，因為防疫的關係，上課時可以喝水，但不能吃東西與喝飲料。
Please wear a mask all the time at school and keep social distance. No food and drinks in the classroom (it’s ok to have some water when needed).
3.如果有感冒症狀，建議去看醫生，並且在家休息。
If you have fever, cough, COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come to school and please go to see a doctor as soon as possible. If you cannot come to school due to this, ask the teacher for online course link and take online courses on that day/those days.
4.請勿遲到、早退。如果缺席超過3分之一，成績會不及格。
Be punctual. Don’t leave class earlier than scheduled time. Students will be failed if they miss more than one third of total class in this semester.
5.上課時學生不說英文或其他語言。
Only Chinese exclusively in class.
6.上課時學生不該做其他事情，如寫功課、聊天、睡覺等與課程無關的事。需參與課堂活動，聽老師及同學的發言和討論。
Actively participate and be cooperative.
Students should not write homework or do other things that are not related to the course, such as chatting with classmates or sleeping during class hour. It’s essential to participate in the classroom activity and class discussion.
7.上課時，除了課程安排以外，不能使用手機、電腦等電子產品做跟課程無關的事。使用一次就扣出席及平時表現成績2分。
Cell phone, laptop, Ipad, electronic dictionary and any electronic devices are only allowed for learning in class, otherwise students will lose 2 points for each time.
8.按時繳交作業。遲交的作業不收，以0分計。
Hand in assignments on time. Late submission will not be accepted.
9.老師所有的上課資料都會放在NTU COOL上，如果需要印出來，請自己上網列印。
All of handouts are on NTU COOL. Please print them out by yourself if it’s necessary.
10.尊重老師及同學。如果上課中發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題的情況，教師將視情況隨時打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in classroom. Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the teacher in class, which is effect on the class going on smoothly, the teacher will end the topic anytime. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic isn't related to the course, the teacher also will interrupt them anytime.
11.請共同建立平等尊重的環境，禁止歧視言行。請避免任何與宗教、國籍、種族、性別、性傾向等相關的歧視言行。如果上課中有歧視言行發生，教師將視情況打斷學生發言，或是請學生離開教室。
For a respective environment for all, NO speeches/acts of discriminations. Please avoid any speeches/acts containing discriminations regarding nationality, cultures, genders, sexualities etc. If students have speeches/acts containing discriminations regarding nationality, cultures, genders, sexualities etc. in class, the teacher also will interrupt them or ask them to leave the classroom anytime.
12.違反以上規定皆會影響學期成績。違反一次規定就扣平時表現成績一分。
Students will have one point deducted from scores of Attendance and Performance each time for violation of class regulations.

出席及平時表現成績 Attendance and Performance |
20% |
1. 違反課程要求及課程規定者，一次扣一分。
Students will lose one point if they violate the regulations.
2. 每堂課遲到或早退20分鐘以上，就算缺席一小時。
Late for class more than 20 minutes or leave class 20 minutes earlier than scheduled time will be regarded as one-hour absence.
3. 每個學生一學期可有兩次缺席(6個小時，含遲到或早退)，老師不會扣分。但第七個小時開始，每缺席1小時，就扣出席及平時表現成績1分。若有事無法上課，請先寫信告訴老師。
Students who are absent within 6 hours (including the absence that late for class or leave class 20 minutes than scheduled from class) will not lose any point. From the 7th hour (official leave are included), students will lose one point per hour.
* Students who ask for sick leave will not lose any points if they have medical certificates. |

1. 作業包括預習作業及課後複習作業。
Some assignments have to be done before class and the others are for practicing after class.
2. 作業需在老師規定的時間內交回，晚交不收，分數是0分。
Late submission will not be accepted and students won’t get any point. |

平時考成績 Quizzes and Tests |

1. 差不多每次上課都有課堂小考（包括聽寫考試與課文理解），如果因故而沒參加考試的，不能補考。若一學期參加聽寫考試的總次數少於10次，則扣平時考總成績10分。聽寫範圍與時間均列於NTU COOL上，請自行上網查看。
There are quizzes in class every time (include dictation and true or false question based on the text). No make-up quiz provided. Students who take the quizzes less than 10 times will have 10 points deducted from scores of Quizzes and Tests. Please check the quiz time on NTU COOL.
2. 每一課教完有單元考試。單元考試時間列於NTU COOL上。考試時間都是某天上課最後一小時。考試主要為筆試(含聽力測驗)。如果因為某些原因無法在指定時間參加考試，每個學生這學期只有一次申請補考的機會(需在考試後一週內完成補考，否則以0分計)。
There will be a written test (including listening comprehension) for each lesson (the total is 5 ~ 7 tests). The test time is on the third hour. Every student only has one chance to apply for a make-up test in this semester. Make-up test will be provided within one week. |

期中考試 Mid-term exam |

期中考試為筆試、聽力測驗及口試。如果因為一些原因無法參加，必須先告訴老師，並完成網路上請假手續，才可在3天內補考。如果沒能於老師規定的日期考試或補考者，這學期的成績會不及格。
Mid-term exam includes written test, listening comprehension and oral test. Students who can’t take mid-term exam on scheduled date need to inform the teacher at least one day before the exam date, and then they can make up the exam within one week. Students will be failed if they can’t take mid-term exam or can’t take make-up exam on scheduled date. |

期末考試 Final exam |

期末考試為筆試、聽力測驗及口頭報告。如果因為一些原因無法參加，必須先告訴老師，並完成網路上請假手續，才可在3天內補考。如果沒能於老師規定的日期考試或補考者，這學期的成績會不及格。
Final exam includes written test, listening comprehension and oral presentation. Students who can’t take final exam or do oral presentation on scheduled date need to inform the teacher at least one day before the scheduled date, and then they can make up the exam within one week. Students will be failed if they can’t take exam or do oral presentation on scheduled date. |
